It all begins in 1969 in Lamezia Terme, in the heart of Calabria. It is here that Frantoio Raso was founded, thanks to the passion of those who decided to turn the care of olive trees into a true mission. Since then, from generation to generation, the family has kept alive the same philosophy of respect for the land, an obsessive attention to quality and a love for their homeland.
Today, Frantoio Raso manages directly over 4,000 Carolea cultivar plants, all grown using certified organic methods. No pesticides, just daily care and respect for the plant’s natural rhythms. Each tree is tended with the same dedication as always, because this is the only way to produce healthy olives, rich in flavour and ready to be turned into an extraordinary oil.
A truly short supply chain
Less than 24 hours pass between harvesting and pressing. The olives are processed in our own mill using a continuous-cycle, temperature-controlled system. Everything is done in-house, from tree to bottle, with no middlemen. This is the true strength of Frantoio Raso: total traceability that few can guarantee.
